Regular Season Round 6: Sparta - Strakonice 44-34

Very expected game in Praha where 10th ranked Strakonice (3-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Sparta (8-4) 44-34 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Adela Sedova (175-2004) who scored 8 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Magdalena Bubenikova (179-2001) chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds. Sparta's coach Ondrej Zajicek used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Adela Junkova (178-2004) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and Anna Davidova added 2 points and 15 rebounds respectively. Sparta have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Strakonice lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Benesov. Sparta will meet Benesov (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
